First Post and Background

Normally I eschew slangy things like the use of the word, ‘da.’ I believe in this case I must beg forgiveness and explain why I chose it against my normal tendency.

For those unfamiliar with the reference, it comes from the excellent film, The Princess Bride, which is itself based on the book by William Goldman. I will probably lose my geek street cred for this, but I believe this film to be more quotable than that holy grail of nerd flicks, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
